Worshipping Community

Welcome to LoveBristol’s worshipping community. Many of us involved in the life of LoveBristol have benefited from living in Christian Community houses ("Religious communities”). We are inspired by the way the early church lived and worshipped and aspire to live according to their simple manifesto found in the bible in Acts 2: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

We seek to live thoughtful and outward looking lives as a community of God worshippers on a journey of becoming healthy community. We gather on Sunday mornings corporately as a church and on Monday evenings in our houses and in-between seek to live and grow together. We are passionate about shared vision and values lived out in everyday life. We aspire to have a positive impact on our world through sharing resources, encouraging and supporting those who are vulnerable around us and living out life as Jesus’ disciples in an urban context.

We love our city and want to offer our worshipping community’s life and hospitality to Bristol to help its inhabitants reach their fullest potential. We believe that through sharing our lives transformation and healing can occur. This is how we seek to love God and also to love our neighbours.

LoveBristol Community Home Fundraiser

We are very excited to confirm following 2 years of fundraising and prayer we have been able to purchase two of the community homes in Cotham owned by the George Muller Charitable Trust.

LoveBristol has found partners for and is in the process of developing eighteen more social housing spaces and plan to start other community led initiatives on the George Muller House site. We are still seeking financial support to see all of these things happen, the GoFundMe page below will shortly be discontinued but if you would like to find out more about the how to support the work of our community homes please do get in touch.
